March is Endometriosis Awareness Month and I want to show my support to women who have been diagnosed with the condition or even know someone who may have it.
Endometriosis impacts over 176 million women worldwide. It is believed that women who started their menstrual cycle early, experienced pregnancy at an older age, not given birth, and or experience menopause later in life may be at increased risk of getting endometriosis.
Some women don't even know they have endometriosis because they only display subtle or potentially no clinical symptoms at all. This is known as 'silent endometriosis'.
If you have however been diagnosed with endometriosis and want to learn more about how you can support your symptoms introduce herbs or teas that contain healing properties and help reduce inflammation in the body, suppress muscle cramps, improve circulation and improve your ovulation. Examples of some of these herbs include; Turmeric, Chamomile, Peppermint, Dandelion Root, and or Raspberry leaf.
