Homemade Pizza

Benefits: Made from ancient grains and a good source of fibre


Ingredients

1 Spelt Pizza Base

1 jar Tomato Sauce {Homemade or alternatively purchased from a local health shop}

500 ml Tomato Paste

4 0z Cheese {Vegan or Dairy}

1 tbsp oregano

1/2 thinly sliced red and yellow bell peppers

1 cup mushrooms

1/2 red onion sliced

1-2 handfuls fresh rocket


Instructions

  1. Blend tomato sauce with tomato paste and 1/2 tbsp oregano

  2. Spread sauce on the pizza base

  3. Add cheese and ensure it covers the base

  4. Sprinkle remaining oregano ensuring to cover the base of the pizza

  5. Add toppings distributed evenly

  6. Cook pizza for 12-15 minutes on gas mark 5
